Large piles of garbage lying everywhere, the terrible condition of public toilets, and open defection are some of the hallmarks of Indian cities and semi-urban towns. Indians have a terrible attitude toward public hygiene 1/
& the reason is the way the caste system influences people's behaviour. Research by Michael Geruso & Dean Spears shows that Muslims have a lower infant mortality rate compared to Hindus as the latter have a low rate of latrine use due to differences in "religious beliefs". 2/

Do not trust or make heroes out of ppl resigning from Indian "Radio Rwanda" Republic TV. No sane person or anyone who had an iota of idea about Arnab, Rajeev Chandrasekhar and the ideology they represent would have joined that genocide-enabler circus in the first place 1/6
The ppl who R resigning now are claiming to have found their moral compass due to the coverage they were FORCED to do during SSR-Rhea controversy. Remember, Republic Tv was founded in 2017 & has done much worse things since its inception. From day one Arnab and the channel 2/6

Priyanka Chopra is an epitome of opportunism and cowardice. In her recent Insta post, she appeals people to end race war in US and educate themselves on race issue. She says no one deserves to die because of their skin color. She stands in support of George Floyd's family. 1/5
The last time I checked Priyanka still holds Indian Passport. What makes her comment on the African-American struggle but not on Bahujan movement? Where does the empathy and support of Priyanka and US migrated Savarnas go when it comes Bahujan resistance movement? 2/5

Marathi daily Loksatta's Brahmin editor Girish Kuber has been caught red-handed for plagiarising verbatim from scholar Andrew Lilico's blog. This is not, however, the first time that Kuber has plagiarized. (1/6)
In the past, Kuber stole from Govind Talwalkar's article on Charles Dickens published in Saadhana Journal. If you are a regular reader of Marathi newspapers especially Sunday supplements, you would know that Kuber is not the only journo/ writer who routinely plagiarises. (2/6)
