💣 LEAKED Files Suggest US-Backed ‘Gen Z’ Network Behind Nepal’s 2025 Coup - Report

Newly leaked files reviewed by The Grayzone claim the US govt covertly funded Nepalese youth groups ahead of the violent 2025 political upheaval.

Pakistan & The IMF: A History Of Scandal?

Since 1958, Pakistan has turned to the IMF 23 times - one of the highest counts globally. The reliance suggests persistent structural weaknesses - chronic fiscal deficits, political instability, and repeated failures to follow through on economic reforms.Image The first IMF arrangement in 1958 was designed to stabilise Pakistan’s economy, but under Ayub Khan’s rule, a significant share of those funds was channelled into defence and industrial investments controlled by a small elite. Task Force 74 was assembled for a second time during the Cold War. The US Navy's Seventh Fleet used the Chagos Islands as a base for its super power thrust and operations in the Indian Ocean. The same fleet was sent by Richard Nixon to the Bay of Bengal in 1971 - during the Indo-Pakistan war.

The move was meant to intimidate India, but instead saw the USSR shadow TF74 using cruisers, destroyers and subs armed with nuclear warheads. America's presence was cut short, lasting from 18 Dec 1971 - 7 Jan 1972.
