I oppose charging people to drive in Cambridge. Wealthy people will be able to carry on driving regardless, poorer people will have their freedom curtailed. #GCPMakingConnections A congestion charge is not a fair tax, it hits people if they can afford it or not. I’m on King’s Parade in Cambridge again for the fourth day running as councillors have again said they are due to close the new anti-terror barrier today. The road is very busy with cyclists at the moment. King’s Parade, Cambridge The reason for delay starting the barrier’s operation was given as new signs and markings being required. I can’t see any new signs and markings today.
