Football is cyclical. The best United teams in my lifetime won the league three times in a row twice, a CL each time. The best Liverpool team for people the same age have seen them win the title as many times as Blackburn and Leicester. This is as good as it’s got for them 🤯 We were one point and goal difference away from winning the league seven years in a row. That was peak United for me. And the Treble before that. But we’re supposed to believe this Liverpool side is one of the best ever? Be serious ffs 😂

Who's this @BBradley_Mans fella who is hounding @MarcusRashford? You might know him as the guy who made up the weird lie that Ashfield Council had spent £17,000 on paying an Indian company to call local residents from a call centre in Mumbai. He later admitted it wasn't true. Or maybe you know him as the guy who called unemployed people "wasters" and said they should have vasectomies. He later apologised.

Ignoring that City break FFP rules and have spent more since Guardiola arrived than any other club, Pep's had a couple of massive wins on the cheap in the transfer market. Jesus for £27m and, even with his injury record, £20m Gundogan is a steal. But then he's also spent £80m on Danilo, Bravo, Nolito, Douglas Luiz, Moreno, Sandler, Zinchenko and Arzani who have either flopped/been sent out on loan/don't play.

In the summer, I was definitely on Pogba's side. Didn't think Mourinho gave the player the praise he deserved for the World Cup, instead being too keen to deflect criticism away from himself over why Pogba played better for France than United. That's not to say he offered no praise but comments about Pogba being more committed to France were unnecessary, but expected, given Mourinho can't ever take responsibility for any of his own flaws when it comes to getting the best out of his players. It's always their fault.

Sir Alex Ferguson called @MinoRaiola a twat and a shitbag years ago, if you needed further evidence of him being a genius. The man’s a visionary 🙂 Falling out with Scholes is something that @MinoRaiola and Mourinho have in common. Some of Scholes’ comments are unnecessary. But when Pogba wears the armband, plays like he did on Sunday, and admits that his attitude wasn’t right, Scholes is correct to question his leadership.
