Two more peer-reviewed, open access articles out today in @trnsprtfndngs with Anna Goodman, @anthonylav & @asathomas on 2020 low traffic neighbourhoods in London. You can see all the LTN papers we've published in Findings here: findingspress.org/articles?tag=l…. (1/10) Today's first paper looks at fire response times in relation to 2020 LTNs in London: findingspress.org/article/23568-…. V interesting - no effect of LTNs on actual delays but evidence that crews more likely to perceive delays due to 'traffic calming'... (2/10)

Including from eight megacities (Mexico City, New York City, Bangalore, Tokyo, London, Bogota, Delhi, & Sao Paulo). We looked at cycling levels in relation to distances, purpose, gender & age. (2/7)

So here's notes for my 'short, no more than 10-minute presentation on why there is to your mind a gender gap in cycling' for @SustransScot roundtable on #WomenandCycling this morning. Bonus: if I run out of time I can refer people to Twitter ;) Women are not a homogenous group. In a 10-min talk I have to simplify a lot. But I will try to highlight some differences/interactions with other characteristics. Also many barriers to cycling affect men too, even if to a lesser extent (mode share for men's still only 3%).
