Funniest thing about the so called 115 charges against Manchester City is that in the end they do not mean shit no matter if they get punished or not because at worst what they did was invest more money in the team, nothing else but opponents crying about it. That has always been the goal, to limit owners from investing in the sport as much as they want. UEFA’s financial fair play and the Premier League’s “sustainability rules” are just mechanisms to keep the top teams at the top and not allow the smaller teams to challenge them.

Ferran Torres has been at the club for a month and part of the fanbase is already slaughtering him, stop this nonsense and give the player time to adapt. Ferran left the strongest squad in world football and the best coach to help Barcelona rebuild, yet part of the fanbase shows no consideration towards him.

This is ridiculous.

We are witnessing what happened to Barcelona now happening with Real Madrid in real time. Ageing midfield not renewed, lots of poor overpriced signings and managers incapable of building a new side. Ajax, Manchester City, Chelsea and now PSG have all not only outclassed Real Madrid but made them look outdated tactically and physically. If not for Courtois they would have their own 4-0 and maybe worse.

Manchester City should spend big without caring for public opinion, and what the hell I mean by that? Open thread. Van Djik wasn’t signed because Manchester City didn’t want to pay up, and we have seen many other occasions this turned into an upset. Koulibaly, Koundé and now settling for Ruben Dias is settling for less when the club should only accept for the best.

Guardiola is a semi-religious figure for me, but my trust in him has started to waver since the Tottenham match, the last season wasn’t good enough and the match vs Leicester today was shocking. I am not sure what’s next for Guardiola, if he should stick around for another season, take a sabbatical to rest or what’s happening with Manchester City.

It’s a very complicated situation.

Manchester City winning at Wolverhampton is an excellent result. The first half was encouraging and KDB is incredible as ever. Lack of pre-season was clear in the second half. Wolves were always going to perform better as the match went on and at times it looked like Pep’s men were dropping points.

There you go, my Riqui Puig rant with the fixed audio: I discussed Bartomeu’s betrayal of Riqui, how the kids that won the UEFA Youth League were sold for nothing and my fears that Ansu Fati is next in line to be sold.

The moment the board is removed with the motion of censure, Koeman should go with them.

End of story. Koeman wants Wijnaldum, now directly telling Riqui Puig that he wants him. Forces a sale, enough money to sign the Dutch midfielder.

Worst of all, if Messi stays, his decision could doom Barcelona for another seven years instead of one. Messi wanting to leave has made everyone forget about the Bayern humiliation, which benefits the board, the ones that pretends there’s a sporting project.

Bartomeu briefing the local media after the meeting that they won’t allow Messi to leave, he went as far as offering the player a two year deal. Both parties are set to keep negotiating, but Bartomeu’s keeping his imaginary tough guy act, for now.

Jorge Messi is eating at the La Focaccia de Dante Gori, known for its wonderful pasta and other typical Italian dishes. [@FApor_elmundo] People were asking about what Messi’s father was going to eat, Italian cuisine it is.

Never thought Messi would be mistreated and discredited on his way out by the club of his life. It’s a disgraceful ending to a beautiful career at Barcelona. Cruyff passed away shunned by Barcelona, with the president in charge openly against his influence at the club. This can’t go on...

September 6th, 2019. Bartomeu says directly on Barça TV that like Xavi and Iniesta, Messi will be able to choose when to leave Barcelona. Bartomeu hasn’t acted like he promised, he does it all the time. Messi is right to not show up.

This comes from Xavi Lemus, who’s great. It’s legit. We could see a situation where Messi plays normally until January, when he will push for an exit again. Still, believe he will leave the club in September.

I have heard that from many other questionable youth signings from Rosell and Bartomeu.

Wanna know which worked?

None. Abeledo, Akieme, Alfaro, Ronald Araújo, Samuel Araújo, Arnáiz, Ballou, Bicho, Borja, Bueno, Cámara, Cardona, Carevic, Chamorro, Concha, Costas, Cuenca, Diagné, Ezkieta, Fali, Gonçalves…

TV3 claims Bartomeu will resign if Messi stays. If Bartomeu resigns, he’s liable to pay for the losses the club accumulated during the time he was in charge. He and most of the board would go bankrupt.

There’s no gaps in the law that would make Bartomeu resign unscathed.

Just realized that Guardiola stopped Real Madrid from easily winning the Champions League again. Let’s say Manchester City lost vs Real Madrid. Easy win vs Lyon, two Benzema goals as the entire empty stadium applauds the French club’s youth product.

Realistically? The club really doesn’t have the means to do it now, so I would say no one. Let’s say Messi leaves, and the older poisonous squad players are gone: Umtiti, Rakitic, Suárez, Alba etc. The Barcelona wage bill would reduce by €150m+ and the financial strain is reduced with the Messi fee + others.

One of my tweets was posted to Reddit’s r/soccer today.

I was inevitably smeared, but no matter. Anyone that follows me for a week will know the truth. It’s funny, because I never disrespect anyone that interacts with me or make up news regarding Barcelona. It’s the contrary, I am open to apologising for mistakes and admitting my opinion was wrong.

Gallardo or Pochettino, no other legitimately great options available for Barcelona. Rangnick, Nagelsmann and Klopp would be incredible signings, but the language is a big problem. And they won’t come. Guardiola won’t come back. All of these, out of question.
