#IStandWithIsreal for two compelling reasons that speak to me on a personal level:

1- Israel is a success story of building a thriving nation out of adversity

2- Israel understands the threat posed by Islamic supremacy in a way that the west does not Point one:

The Jewish people have endured immense suffering and persecution repeatedly throughout history, yet refused to remain victims.

After having endured the bitter resentment and envy of others who could not accept their success. They did not wallow in self-pity
