Purpose: Vjosa Tashi shall serve as the program manager for the Preferred Communities Afghan supplemental program at HIAS.

Ms. Tashi is responsible for programmatic oversight of the pc Afghan GAP services program, training and monitoring, and she will provide ongoing guidance and technical assistance to the agency.

- building organizational capacity to provide for any additional service coordination, case management or community linkages that may be needed while working with clients under this program.
- using direct client assistance to support clients, including medical bills, rent, winter clothing, utilities, funeral assistance, transportation costs, allowable legal fees, and/or other expressed client needs.
- maintaining communication with key stakeholders, including the state refugee coordinator and state refugee health coordinator and participating in state-convened local task forces.
