On this World Indigenous Day, I am reminded of how little we read or get taught by/of/about Adivasi (Indigenous peoples in India). This thread is limited to my research, which I often read to educate myself. It includes non-Adivasi writers too. Feel free to add to this. Thread🧵
Dr Ram Dayal Munda was a key public intellectual who shaped the cultural milieu of Adivasi literature. Having earnt a PhD from UChicago, he returned to work towards Adivasi Risorgimento -- a cultural revolution to raise Adivasi consciousness. These are two works of Munda.
