I believe Silent Hill F will focus on self-perception and trauma from psychological abuse. I get the feeling that Hinako is pressured by other people in her life to fit a "format" and meet their expectations, to the point she has lost her sense of self. Explanation below. (1/?) There's a very frequent theme of dolls in everything we've been shown so far, and at least a few of them resemble Hinako in some way. All the enemies we've been shown are dolls and women mutilated into resembling dolls and puppets. (2/?)

(2/10) Straightjackets, pills & other medical bottles at random places. Medical bottles are EVERYWHERE, examples below are the movie theater (named REVERIE for some reason), Happy Burger, Heaven's Night. Heaven's Night especially is full of medicine among all the alcohol bottles.

Thread on what is really happening in SH2R. It's nothing like the original story and there's a huge hidden plot twist that is hidden in plain sight all throughout the game. James has been in a mental hospital for two decades.(2/?)

Mary, Maria, Eddie and Laura all have something really disproportional about them. Mary & Maria have very short middle fingers, Eddie has a very short nose and severe underbite,Laura has very long arms.James and Angela are the only characters without some kind of abnormality.Why?


Here is what @draculasbat believes is the meaning behind this. The question is, why don't James and Angela also have a similar kind of flaw? Is there something that makes them different to the other characters?

The room where James finds Laura in the hospital had a much bigger and different role in an earlier version of the story,and it was called "the playpen". The devs have left "bits and pieces" of its original purpose inside,perhaps as an extra layer of storytelling (1/?)


In this early version, the 3 patients' reports were completely different and their stories were mostly the same as the original game's patients (Jack, Joshua and Joseph). James had to collect pieces of their torn reports and piece them together. (2/?)

One of the most disturbing sexual symbolisms in SH2R. When James aims his gun at the "lamp" it reacts and starts moving. After aiming to it for some time the lamp will "masturbate". You can also hear a man's heavy breathing. I don't need to say what the whole ceiling looks like. It's also important to note that James makes sinister comments on the 2 items in this area,something he doesn't normally do. The mannequin's eye hole drips with the same black fluid as abstract daddy's legs. There's a recording of the director laughing shortly after, on a symbol.

Previously I posted proof that the janitor is James. Now I'll talk about James' past before that time,and the trauma he suffered. This will be a very long post,with proof and a lot of things to back it up, and many hidden details that most of you missed. *SA is mentioned* (1/?) First off, the x-rays in Brookhaven are James', you can see his jawline and his teeth, especially his crooked canine tooth that sticks out. There is also some explanation for the x-rays in the game files. A big sketch of James' face is also in a corner of Brookhaven's lobby.(2/?)
