In the early concepts, when Digimon still was Capsule Zaurus, the designs were much more simplified and focused on creating elemental monsters. A much more linear and simplified approach could be seen here but for trademark and copyright reasons, the concept changed completely. 
The story of the Lilimon who fell in love with Bancho Leomon and wanted to prove her own power and become a Bancho, the Mamemon who wanted to free imprisoned Digimon, the story of the Stingmon who couldn't stand seeing friends getting killed. 
Having worked previously in Digimon Adventure: (2020), as talk about the next work was starting, the Series Composer of the current series, Atsuhiro Tomioka, got sick due to overwork. Due to that Sogo having a good relationship with him, he took over Series Composer duties. 
Regarding the Digimon that appeared in Adventure, Bandai allowed them to choose whatever they wanted to fit their stories. When the anime series started they documented the settings of the characters and how they would look in the anime, there were 286 to choose in the start. 
The preview pages for it have already been revealed and 4 pages about the back settings of Digimon were shared (We don't know if there are more back settings in the book)
But since the focus was in monsters for boys, the concept was rejected. Monzaemon ended up taking her place, but since no one knows what is inside of Monzaemon, maybe it's the high-school girl working part-time. 
Flymon evolves into Vamdemon
The story continues with the development of Digimon, their ecology, and the creation of various devices that helps to study more Digimon. It's the perfect summary of the original settings.
She instead says the protagonist swims the waves of cyberspace and basically calls them a "digital slave and faithful servant of a female detective" and that the protagonist is Sayo's "Destined Person" (運命の人). 
Digimon is a franchise born to be "Fighting Tamagotchi", so the core of it was to expand on Tamagotchi's original growth system to include a fighting mechanic so that multiple "tamers" could train their Digimon and make their evolve into the perfect fighting monsters 
Why am I making this ? A number of reasons. Especially because I started to see some people talking about it making no sense for Digimon to talk about some themes, even with them always being a thing for Digimon and the fanbase simply never knowing about them.
Kiriha was sent to another Zone by Dynasmon. Dynasmon tries to summon Kiriha, but it seems that he is outside of what Dynasmon's power can reach. 
That Digimon is Beelzebumon, that is happy to see that both Taiki and Shoutmon are fine. 
Dynasmon then asks Taiki a question. How much does he knows about the Weapon Digimon ? 
Dynasmon was once the warrior who used the Weapon Digimon in fights in order to protect that Zone. But now all that was still there, was a small memory. Dynasmon is now going to restore the last of Spadamon's memories. 
However as soon as the 6th tower got repaired, Parrotmon saw something in the system of the Earth Fort. And something appeared. 
That Digimon reveals to be the Digital Hazard Dragon, known since ancient times. Now as one of Barbamon's Shadow Guards, Blast Elite, who protects one of the Condenser Towers. 
Spadamk suggests that the little Digimon should be protected and leave the room. The Digimon thanks them, they are really good guys. 
For now they need to return to Sky Fort, but Parrotmon appears. ROG is already going to the City. Spadamon explains that in certain situations the Sky Fort projects a Protect Field
