Today, I got email from the Income Tax department claiming that I have incorrectly claimed some amount as charitable donation back in 2022-23, based on the PAN of the organization provided. Image In quick succession, I get similar mails for the next 2 years as well. I quickly check, and the problem becomes apparent. In the ITR filed in 2022, I had made a typo in the PAN of one of the organizations I had donated to. Based on this, they seem to have questioned the next 2.

I appreciate the BJP supporters of Karnataka sacrificing their state for the larger good of the nation. I don't know why people are missing the obvious fact: it's not just the Congress and the JDS that will be hurt if the BJP successfully horsetrades. It is party discipline among all parties, and in that the BJP has the most to lose.
