Her comment said my profession is highly paid. Her followers added it is the oldest profession. This is how some activists respond when a Lebanese-Syrian woman supports Israel publicly: no argument, only slander. I support Israel because I studied, lived, remembered, and chose truth over inherited hatred.

When a woman explains she supports Israel out of conviction, study, lived experience, and admiration for the Jewish people, the response is slander. The assumption is that no one could sincerely disagree, so she must be bought or corrupt.
I was born to Lebanese and Syrian Muslim parents. I arrived at my views through experience, loss, observation, and years of study. I spent my first 18 years in a region where the Palestinian cause was sacred while actual Middle Eastern people were disposable.
Lebanon endured civil war, occupation, militias, assassinations, collapse. Syria buried over 500,000 people and displaced millions. Yemen was devastated. Iraq shattered. Iran represses its own people while funding proxies.
