Out of every chain, why did we choose Avalanche? And what’s coming in the next 3 months?

Let me clear it up for you.

1/n Our decision came down to three very simple reasons:

1. The people at Avalanche.

The boys @j0eferrara, @EdC, @coopernicus01 and countless others have gone beyond the call of duty. For insight, Joe and I have been speaking since before Pegaxy V1 launched. A friend before anything else.

1/ I had the chance to work with @TechCrunch on some thoughts that I’ve wanted to release for quite some time.

Since we brought Pegaxy to the world, things have changed so much, I want others joining our journey in web3 to have the best chance at success.
techcrunch.com/2022/10/27/5-t… 2/ It makes me so happy to see so many new studios entering the market just like we did, ignorant of how tough the gaming industry is, but driven by passion and a desire to create something that players will enjoy. That might seem backwards to you but....

Many are asking to hear my thoughts on the FUD and peoples negative opinions. I usually stay neutral because I want to respect both sides of the coin, but I’ll dive into my brain just a little so you can understand why I decide to not get involved in arguments. We launched Pegaxy with the intent to stay small initially, so we could build with a community that would give data, and and slowly release the game and go to market say 12-18 months after the 2D release.

This is a super rough, hand drawn flow of the theory behind the Pegaxy “rental” infrastructure and its benefits, compared to what we are used to in the account sharing infrastructure.

- Second picture shows our goal in short term. It’s hard to really put this into a flow that every understands, when I’m not good at expressing my ideas visually.

However I am trying to simplify it so much that people see the value extraction ponzi, so that we can all work towards the same goal of solving it. ❤️

We have just finalised the build (releasing soon) that will allow owners/managers to track their guilds/scholars on @PegaxyOfficial and @AxieInfinity at the same time! 😍 You simply select the tab on the left hand side to switch between them both!

This is just the first update of a massive overhaul we expect to release over the coming months. Once we have our three core requirements:

- Combined data dashboard
- Axie tracking
- Pegaxy tracking

Traditional gaming studios coming into the P2E space assuming that the game economics work the same as they do in the traditional space, are going to really hurt the people they convinced to buy their NFTs and play their game... 🧵 2/ There is one big fat difference between a traditional game and a P2E game, that happens to be the fact that everything involves REAL MONEY.

Beyond anything else, this means your players expectations are different, and with that - the way they act is different.
