On 7/13/23, @PragerU released Light in the Darkness - a docu-series which chronicles Ballard's journey to founding a child sex slave rescue company. In it, Ballard directly contradicts statements made under penalty of perjury in a federal court case.

#SoundOfFreedom claims to be based on the true story of Tim Ballard's life. He's reached near sainthood. Questioning him or his movie attracts a litany of nasty accusations (watch comments below). But the truth matters. And Ballard appears to have a problem with the truth. 1/ In a 2020 interview, Ballard told the "true" story of the moment he committed his life to saving child sex slaves.
