Fwiw this is my understanding of current israel / iran dynamics

IDF is more or less done militarily in Gaza & now has 3 basic options

1. IDF declares victory and goes home

This is a bad option bc Hamas will also declare victory & will immediately begin to rebuild itself

1/ 2. 🇮🇱 makes deal w Hamas along lines of current Biden, where hostages are released & both IDF + Hams leave Gaza

This is best case scenario bc Hamas can’t claim victory. But for that reason Hamas is unlikely to agree

3. 🇮🇱 declare end to major operations in Gaza, but IDF…

Or at least in as much as the logic of what she is arguing supports not giving aliyos (as is obviously what should be the case) to cis gay men

There is no legitimate argument (I don’t accept the, in my mind disingenuous, “but the sex isn’t in public” line of argument) that cis gay men are somehow halachicly different
