The shelters are full. It’s cold. There is nowhere for people to go.

We should not be using public resources to displace unsheltered people during a pandemic winter if we have no alternatives lined up. Period.

This is a choice made by people in power. It’s wrong and inhumane. When I spoke with the County to ask them not to move forward with these evictions they told me that there was space on emergency shelter and that people were refusing the help.
