The right’s dirty little secret:
Their rural residents benefit from a progressive tax system and investment in the common good for kids, workers & families.
But their representatives are committed to demonizing taxes at every turn.
To be clear- we ALL benefit from public investments in schools, infrastructure, healthcare and housing.
I want everyone, regardless of geography or political background, to have access to a good life.
That’s why I fight for it- not just for my constituents but all Minnesotans

The shelters are full. It’s cold. There is nowhere for people to go.
We should not be using public resources to displace unsheltered people during a pandemic winter if we have no alternatives lined up. Period.
This is a choice made by people in power. It’s wrong and inhumane.
When I spoke with the County to ask them not to move forward with these evictions they told me that there was space on emergency shelter and that people were refusing the help.
Last night I was on an EMS ride along w/ Hennepin Health. We responded to a call at Harbor Lights.
