On Saturday, I joined @adam_tooze @ecuarauz @patmirandaBolon on a panel moderated by @vtg2 from @politico to discuss how international monetary policy can be used to alleviate poverty worldwide. One tool we can use is a new issuance of Special Drawing Rights (SDRs).

🧵 This afternoon, I voted against H.R. 8393, the Puerto Rico Status Act in today’s @NRDems Resources markup. While today marks an important first step in the decolonization process of Puerto Rico, I could not in good faith support the passage of H.R. 8393, Puerto Rico Status Act in its current form.

Like many DACA recipients, Angel Rubi Navarijo has persevered despite the obstacles. I am proud to highlight Angel, our @CHCI intern and a proud constituent of the 4th district. Angel was born in Guatemala City and raised in the Albany Park neighborhood by his mother who immigrated to the United States from Guatemala at 18.
