But what didn’t really get covered was one of the cruelest bills to ever pass the House.

6 ways that this bill will hurt, if not kill, children and families. 🧵🎥👇🏼 It makes permanent about $10 billion in DOGE cuts.

These are cuts that Elon Musk, Donald Trump and others in the administration, the billionaires, want.

This bill is a legitimate example of how billionaires are running the government. The world's richest people are going after the country’s and the world’s poorest children.

That's how the tax system works. That's how the regulatory system works. It's broken.

Tens of millions of Americans are about to lose their healthcare.

Congressional Republicans are working to cut nearly $1 trillion in healthcare to pay for tax cuts for the uber-wealthy…but they’re not coming right out to say that.

3 ways they’ll try to spin it.🧵📽️👇🏻 1. “Kick it to the states”

Medicaid covers 70 million Americans. The federal government pays 70% of the cost-- states cover the rest. If you "kick it to the states," they can’t make up the difference.

Translation: they’re cutting healthcare.
