Why is MSM harder on Democrats than it is on Republicans?
Because it treats each party as they treat themselves. Democrats hold themselves to ethical standards; Republicans don't, and MSM (and the GOP itself) treats each accordingly.

But as unfair as that may be, Democrats almost deserve it because they continue to tolerate it, despite its existential risk to democracy, rather than risk offending the media by demanding it hold Republicans to the same ethical standards they follow as public servants.

I know you're all worried that the explosive accusations Parnes made last night in @maddow's interview may turn to dust today
