I woke up, watched @peterboghossian’s latest video on YouTube and got fired up… 😅 I can’t stand to watch these topics being discussed as if there is any sense in what the other side is advocating for.

I do appreciate what he does, but sometimes it just hurts to watch safety, dignity and fairness for women being debated as if these concepts should even be debatable in the first place.

On the question of “should men be competing in women’s sports?” the argument should not be centred around residual advantage.. but around the fact that female sports are for female bodies, not chemically hamstrung male bodies.

1/ For a start, it’s insulting to make women, who are competing at their peak, pit themselves against men who have reduced their performance to qualify.

This doesn’t really seem in the spirit of competition to me, what about you?

As I’ve come to realise just how little women matter in society, I’ve become more radical in my position.

I don’t just want to find a comfortable middle ground, I want everything. No compromises.

I want women to be recognised as the full human beings that we are. 1/ I want us to have dignity, privacy, safety and fairness without it even being a question and for that to happen I think we need to be 100% clear about what a woman is.

It’s madness to me that this is even considered radical… 2/

I won’t forgive a single person who holds the door to the female changing rooms open to a male pervert. IDC if you’re a man who genuinely believes he’s a woman, or a woman who just has so much compassion in her heart for men (and none leftover for her sisters) 1/ Every single one of you is a threat to little girls like my 5 year old sister and I will make sure that every single on of you knows about it.

No, I won’t accept any compromises. Women’s spaces are for women and girls. No amount of surgery or hormones will change that. 2/

I don’t think men should be adopting children so they can play at being a mummy… just like I don’t think they should be undressing in our changing rooms/ competing in our sports/ providing care to women who request female-only care… 1/ It is an all-consuming affliction that makes them not only punish and harm their bodies, but also selfishly take take take from women, who’d be the most sympathetic and natural allies to them… had they not overstepped to the extent that they have. 2/
