Here is why you should vote against it:
NY has the lowest per capita carbon emissions of any of the 50 states at 7.99/mt

New Yorkers are already essentially funding carbon offsets for the rest of the country

THE TRUTH ABOUT NYC CONGESTION PRICING THAT YOUR POLITICIANS WILL NOT TELL YOU
Congestion pricing is being heralded as a savior to the city/state/MTA problems addressing climate, health, and financing for the MTA.
But in reality it’s a hoax and here’s why…
POLLUTION
It’s been estimated that congestion pricing will result in an annual decrease of 364,589 -493,277 miles driven citywide. Impressive right?
This is amount is less than 1% of total miles driven in the city per year.
99% of the threat of pollution from cars will remain.
