Bitcoin is breaking out
- After weeks of ratcheting higher from the 76k local bottom in April, we have been bumping up against 106k for a week before staging this break out.
- At every point, bitcoin seemed to exhaust sellers before going higher
- From the technical guys, it looks like blue sky up to a range of 118k (@woonomic) or as high as 145k (@jjcmoreno)

Getting a lot of questions about the price action post the largest economy in the world committing to a Bitcoin strategic reserve.
The price action is best surmised in a quote I will never forget from one of my hedge fund manager clients
“You have to sell it to buy it”
What does this mean?
He explained it to me very succinctly “I am too big for the market, if I go to everyone and say I am trying to buy it, everyone will want to buy it….. But if I say to Goldman I am looking to sell XBillions of this or that, everyone will turn seller…..
