We’re excited to introduce ARI (Advanced Research & Insights) - the first professional-grade deep research agent purpose-built for business.

Instead of spending $100K+ on whitepapers and analyses that take weeks, you can now get polished PDF reports from ARI in under 5 minutes.

We're opening up early access today. 🔗 below ARI breaks a single query down into multiple research steps in real time.

It also analyzes 400 sources simultaneously (10x more than others).

It's fascinating that some folks who are probably great science fiction writers are somehow considering their writing about AI risk as scientific research.

A thread on imagined existential risks, creativity & a lack of it, history, LLMs, safety, regulation and anti-hype hypers. I acknowledge that scifi did predict some things well
However most inventions and concerns from literature remain fiction

Today, we are announcing the opening of our search platform. With this, we hope to tackle two problems we see with Google:
1. users do not have control over what they see, and
2. developers/organizations cannot provide useful capabilities to the search results page
->Thread Starting today -> everyone can build their own search app into #YOUPlatform 🥳

The more you can pre-train the better the AI:

Word vectors -> encoder for contextual vectors of complete input sequence -> multi-task systems that include the input, task and output (ie. DecaNLP, LLMs, GPT3, etc)
The question is where could AI progress come from next? A🧵 Sure, pre-train more modalities together.
I think the first paper that used a nnet to map complete sentences and images into the same vector space is almost a decade old [1] but the idea hasn't been fully scaled to unsupervised foundational models yet

I've worked on academic deep learning and summarization for years.
Summarization is a foundational technology for the information age and a remedy for the attention economy.
Here's a🧵 for how we think and apply summarization at @YouSearchEngine Why focus on summarization in search?
Time is finite and valuable.
You should be able to search less and do more and get things done quickly, not get sucked into engagement loops, fed a bunch of annoying ads, and junky SEO’d content.
