Happy new year. Let's go over all the things RiiConnect24 has accomplished this year.
We released RiiTag 2.0, which is a total revamp of RiiTag. It runs better. RiiTag 2.0 runs under a different engine.

OK, I made a discovery by accident with the News Channel. If you're lucky and get the position and timing right, you can get it to play a sound effect as soon as the News Channel loads up. I managed to do it 5 times but it's hard to reproduce, luckily I got it on camera 😊
I randomly discovered this when I was prepared to read the news, then I noticed that and kept trying to reproduce it, got it on camera no problem. It's very subtle that this sound effect plays but it's nice finding discoveries like these after so many years of using the channel.

I find it funny that for Mario's 25th Anniversary, aside from the red Wii and DSi they made, they re-released Super Mario All-Stars on a Wii disc.
It's literally just the SNES game with "Wii controls", and not even the version with Super Mario World.
Apparently it was so good that it wa re-re-released as a Nintendo Selects title.
I hope the rumors are true that the classic Super Mario games are being released on the Switch, Nintendo would make a TON of money off that, don't you think?

I don't feel like making a follow-up video for the Kid Pix 5 thing, and I don't know how many people actually care about it, So I'm gonna make it a Twitter thread. Read below.
Hello Gamers, it is Larsen here and today we're talking about Kid Pix 5 again! If you haven't already, please watch the previous video I made about Kid Pix, the link's in the description. I finally think I figured out why Software MacKiev hasn't really advertised the software yet

I wish Forbes would stop writing clickbait headlines like this. The change? It's just a new logo.
Forbes often writes headlines like "Apple just gave 1 billion users to switch" and it's just talking about a security vulnerability.
After 19 years, there is finally coming a version of macOS that is not version 10. After version 10.15 of the OS, finally we have version 11. After 10.9 there should've been version 11 but whatever, it's finally time to move to macOS 11. I've been waiting for this for years.
I am a Mac user. If you comment complaining about Macs I'm gonna block you.

Perhaps more interesting than Cooking Mama for Switch: Kid Pix 5: The S.T.E.A.M. Edition! archive.org/details/KidPix5
Most people don’t know this exists because the developers of Kid Pix, Software MacKiev, haven’t really advertised it nor put it on their site.
It’s available for Windows, Mac, and the iPad. It baffles me why MacKiev hasn’t advertised this on their site. They still advertise the older version, Kid Pix 3D. They also have it on their reseller, Learning Services, to sell to schools.

The most touching thing Nintendo has done in a long time to us (in 2018) is show the Wii Channels on this WarioWare Gold microgame. It means so much to us.
They could have been referencing the Homebrew Channel with this. They did something similar with the Google logo (the letter sequence is the same colors).

Importing Miis from CMOC into Wii Sports Resort is now supported. Make sure you enable the import setting in Wii Sports Resort, and that you are using RiiConnect24's DNS.
You will not see the miis show up immediately. After enabling the setting, your Wii will automatically download the current mii list every 6 hours in standby mode. After 6 hours, you should see popular miis from CMOC show up in the audience or as opponents in Wii Sports Resort.

Kouichi Kawamoto is a god. He has worked on all sorts of innovative games, like Brain Age, 1-2-Switch, Rusty's Real Deal Baseball, some StreetPass games, Nintendo Labo, Nintendo Badge Arcade, concept of WarioWare, probably the Wii Menu, and the News, Forecast, and Photo Channel
Most of these he was the director or producer of. I was just wondering if he worked on Ring Fit Adventure because it sounds like a game he would work on. Yep, he was the producer.
