As I am seeing some social media discussions about the everlasting topic of Bo1s vs Bo2s vs Bo3s I wanted to share my thoughts and some insight. Thread below: Fun fact: This topic is even older than my time at Riot and in my application process ~4 years ago I literally prepared a presentation for all the upsides and downsides of Bo1/2/3s.

Maintaining our high standards for competitive integrity in this online scenario is of course difficult. But it is incredibly important to us. I am threading a few examples of how we are ensuring a fair competition in this thread for everyone’s visibility: Teams are streaming live video and audio feeds from the practice rooms in their facilities which are observed by our referees.

Teams have installed video capturing software so our Head Referee can evaluate potential bugs and assess Chronobreak scenarios.
