With all the prosperity conversations going on, I want us to work backwards by considering this question:
Does the kingdom of darkness need money to expand?
Or it needs the deceitfulness of riches + the love of money to be planted in men's hearts?
We have established that the
love of money is different from having money. The Bible says that the love of money is the root of ALL EVIL (emphasis mine). So, we can effectively logically conclude that the kingdom of darkness does not need money to expand its influence. It just needs to get people to love

See, we really need to look at what prosperity really is. Last night, while at prayer meeting at church, we read Genesis 39:2 (KJV) and the Bible says that Joseph was a prosperous man.
In my mind I was like, ah? Wasn't Joseph a slave? How was he prosperous? The Bible continued
In verse 3 to say that the Lord was with him causing him to prosper in everything he did. Ok so he was prosperous because the Lord was with him and the blessing of the Lord was upon the works of his hands? Ok.
So Joseph was a prosperous slave? Yes. And this is not an oxymoron.
