She tells one story from the 2 million Algerian villagers that were forcibly removed by the French military in the 1950s. @ccasGU @georgetownsfs She discusses the anxieties around how to get funding that doesn’t hijack the film and making a film that uncovers a silenced history but that might never get seen by the people in the film causing a double silencing.
