There's an interesting bride-gathering motif in the story of Superman... Well… consider their names. You have DeShawn, LaQuisha, or Tyrone, Lamar, Kendrick—we would all recognize these as “black names”.

But what do they mean?

I’ve noticed kind of a trend with intelligent people, while thinking about Thiel’s naming of “Palantír” and “Mythril (Capital)”.

It seems like they like to give their creations names with deep meaning, but *esoteric* meaning— —if people had thought of all the implications of the name “Palantir”, they might know what he was thinking—but people don’t read, and they don’t think. So it’s mysterious.
