I, like most Americans, find the death of Mr. Floyd disturbing and completely unacceptable, and I hope those responsible are prosecuted to the max extent of the law. I also defend any citizen's right to peacefully protest...However, this is no longer about the death of Mr. Floyd. This is about criminals, anarchists, and terrorists using this man's tragic death to steal, loot, and victimize law abiding citizens.

I am also disgusted to see our brave police officers being disrespected and targeted by these thugs!

1/4: Heartbreaking news today as Potter County reported its first death due to COVID-19. I know this is increasingly concerning for many of you, and as a resident of Amarillo, I am concerned about my family and my neighbors, too. 2/4: Yesterday, I spent the entire day at the White House in order to discuss the plans for those in our district in person, with emphasis on small business, agriculture, and oil and gas.
