This is a rapid COVID test. I was given it for work. It works in 15 minutes! WHY are we not being given the opportunity to do this so I can visit my mother!? DON’T tell me it’s not safe enough. Together with PPE and temperature check that is MORE than enough. (1/-) We lost my dad just after the first lockdown. It feels like we lost our mum at the same time. Explain to me how we are allowing residents in care homes to deteriorate beyond recognition. This is cruel and inhumane. (2/-)

I wanted to say a huge thank you for all the messages of support and concern over my last post about my mum. The care and love that is out there in the world is deeply moving ... (1/-) Image ...but I am also saddened by all the similar stories of loss, confusion, pain and frustration you shared with me too. COVID has robbed us all of something or someone and it's ok to just take a moment to survey the damage and grieve those losses. (2/-)
