@BeschlossDC It was my sophomore year of high school. I was taking a Drama class, it was taught in the auditorium and had 60 or so students in it, so we generally had 2 teachers present. First, it's anectdata. Second the people we're talking about are not a monolithic block and semi-benign rights-deniers like your aunt aren't the MAJOR problem. (2/)

There's a lot of talk about how to "reach" Trump voters (along with a lot of people saying "why won't you try to understand them?") and there are a lot of issues with that. But one real problem, as Hope has noted, is the bad information bubble most of them live in (the [1/] CHOICE many of them make to do so is another thing). Among all the usual stuff about how the whole "debt collection" business is 99% scammers and frauds masquerading as legit companies,
