PUTIN !!!!
How Putin made Russia Great Again or why Russians love him so much
(very long š§µ)
Thread
1/
After the collapse of the USSR, Russia became a colony of the West and lost its sovereignty. During the 1990s and under Yeltsinās government, the country nearly fell apart. The military and industries across all sectors were destroyed, school textbooks were rewritten, and resources were sold off to Western corporations.
Itās a serious question whether Russia would even exist today if things had continued that way. However, with Putinās arrival, everything changed - he brought Russia back to itself.
Bio
Few in the West know about Putinās mentor, Anatoly Sobchak, who introduced him to politics. Sobchak was a strong supporter of liberal-democratic ideas and one of the founders of the āDemocratic Russiaā party.
In the early 1990s, Vladimir Putin worked as an assistant to the rector of Leningrad State University for international affairs.
This position served as a cover, as he was an active KGB agent. When Sobchak noticed him at the University and invited him to join his team, Putin had to admit his work in intelligence. Realizing that combining KGB work with political activity was impossible, he resigned from the KGB.
In June 1991, Sobchak became the mayor of St. Petersburg. During the tense political environment of the time, from 1993 onward, Sobchak often entrusted Putin to act as mayor during his foreign trips, showing great trust in his professionalism.
However, starting in 1995, a campaign to discredit Sobchak began, organized by his political opponents in Moscow who viewed him as a potential rival for the presidency. Using accusations of misconduct, law enforcement agencies like the Prosecutorās Office, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and the FSB effectively ended his political career.
His worsening health worked to his enemiesā advantage, reducing his ability to defend himself. At one point, they even tried to block him from traveling abroad for medical treatment.

The Turning Point: Russiaās New Year of Change
Since Christmas is a religious holiday in Russia, New Yearās Eve is celebrated similarly to how Christmas is in the West. A New Yearās tree is set up, and children receive gifts from Ded Moroz, the Russian Santa Claus, on the night of December 31st to January 1st.
The celebration begins with a televised speech by the president, followed by the countdown to the chimes of the Kremlin clock, Russiaās main timepiece.
Back then, everyone anticipated Boris Yeltsinās New Year address. By the 2000s, however, Yeltsin could barely speak. He was widely seen as a hopeless alcoholic, mocked by the Russian people and even by foreign leaders like Bill Clinton. Russians felt ashamed of their president, who had become a national embarrassment.
But instead of Yeltsinās familiar face on TV, a young man appeared. Calm, polite, and well-spoken, he explained that Yeltsin had stepped down due to health reasons, and until the elections in the spring, he would take on presidential duties.
He wished everyone a Happy New Year, and for the first time in a while, there was a sense of hope in the air.
When the elections came, people voted for this young man, Vladimir Putin, and he became president. Almost immediately, he introduced significant changes, particularly regarding the oligarchs who had gained immense political influence in the 1990s during the privatization of state enterprises under Yeltsin.
After the collapse of the USSR, several waves of privatization swept through Russia, leaving the nationās wealth in the hands of a few. While ordinary Russians suffered from a sharp decline in living standards, barely scraping by, the business clans born in the chaos of perestroika solidified their control over the most valuable assets of what was once a great country.

Here is a part redacted GROUP CHAT I am in on Telegram between a USA military officer Veteran & a currently serving member of the RUSSIAN FORCES, AN officer who is in the "SPECIAL FORCES " military in KURSK.
Some strong, emotional language , The respect for each other is clear

USA RET:
I understand you are limited to what you can reveal, but generally, I wonder what your personal opinion is of the likelihood that Putin will agree to a cease-fire and limit himself to only the four regions in a final settlement?
RUS CAPT:
Ya I know thanksā¦usually I prefer to write, itās easier for me here. But I keep as an option
Difficult to say
my unit here care about intelligence and support our guys on the ground. But in we go on the ground too. Officially till now nothing changes for us and we have not any order or official communication. My opinion is that ceasefire is unacceptable but only Putin knows exactly the rules. 30 day has no sense at all for me. Trump want do business and want probably decent relationship with usā¦Russia, itās involved China too. The big question is if Trump want delete Zelensky.
USA RET:
If Putin were to later, give an order to take Odessa / Kharkov, even if that would cost 9 months of fighting and cost another hundred thousand Russian lives, do you think Ru people would support it?
My guess is that ultimately Putin will not take a position near term that lowers the cost if long-term security cannot be assured.
RUS CAPT:
For me yesā¦obviously only my opinion. In Russia only in big cities maybe a few will not support but an irrelevant number. Iām from St. Petersburg and there nothing for now for example and Moscow too. In the others areas Ural, Siberia etc the support itās 100%
obviously russians are tired too but normal economy works and all itās ok. All the things come frome EU are shameless propaganda
Putin was clear since the startā¦.about security being involved in SVR (even if Putin in the start give more āpowerā to FSB) is that the bigger problem about security itās terrorism inside Russia
Being on the ground right now we can occupy all Ukraine in few months
obviously this has a price but
In Kursk we have total control, the rest itās west propaganda
USA RET:
What do you say to those people in the west who claim that it has taken Russia three years to take the 22% it has right now, and then it would take another year or two to capture more?
RUS CAPT:
I can say them that if we wanted we could have Ukraine in few months, a few after the start we had (my unit and Chechens) Zelensky and his family for example than Putin stopped everything. Without Putin now Ukraine would be a black hole in the map. I suppose that Putin wanted a war of attrition from the beginning, and put the EU in difficulty. This in some way worked, still workingā¦right now EU itās divided and collapsingā¦.what we say in Russia is that if they want we can continue this war for another 10 years
China say one thing but in reality thinks the contrary, BRICS now are stronger than USA (I donāt consider EU)ā¦.Trump for me want avoid this. Now the real question is till which point Trump want āto goā ?
USA RET:
One of the things that puzzles me more than almost any other ā and thereās a lot of opportunity and things that are puzzling in this war ā is that why Keir Starmer, Manuel Macron, Schultz, and Biden, continued talking so brash and bold in Russiaās face militarily, when all they have to do is look in their armories and realize they donāt have a fraction of the men, ammunition, or industrial capacity to actually fight Russia
My theory is that they too recognize Putinās reluctance and restraint, and calculate heāll never do anything and so theyāll never have to make good on the threats.
But thatās not risky in my view, itās a potential existential gamble.

Video clip is of 2 SPETZNAZ Officers in spring 2014!
You can judge for yourself the Russian mentality.. fearless & determined!
2.
RUS CAPT:
Than will seeā¦but Trump in the end must understand two things, first stop Ukraine and delete Zelensky, second consider that the war started in 2014 thanks to USAā¦.russian remember this
USA RET:
He might remember that. I know some people in his inner circle are telling him the truth, but weāll see what action he takes as a result.RUS CAPT:
Yaā¦this is the point, itās very relevant
Good point of viewā¦I donāt consider Germany (collapsing) and Biden (he is the puppet of USA deep state and Blinken probably)ā¦.re France and above all England they are playing with fireā¦Macron need to say something because he is in big troubles in his country (and anyway there are diplomatic contacts between Fr and Ru) about England they are simple idiots, Starmer is hate by his people and act as a soldier. Plus probably youāre right they both know that Putin donāt care so they donāt stop to bark.
USA RET:
If youāre right on Russian capacity, and if Putin ever gives the order, the entire western world will be in a state of shock, on par with what happened after France collapse in a week of fighting in May 1940. They donāt believe Russia can do anything, and they think that their side can stop any attempt.
If you guys proved them wrong on the battlefield, I am not exaggerating, they would be in state of shock and wouldnāt know what to do.
RUS CAPT:
You knowā¦for me they are already in state of shock. I can deny a funny feeling when I saw/listen that group of dumbs who want rearm EUā¦what they want to do without America ? They become a bunch of isteriksā¦.for nothing, Russia has no interest at all to invade EU. First, probably cannot second for what ? Sure in case we š·šŗ could destroy some cities or nato bases (need around 6/8 minutes) but for what ?
USA RET:
I have concluded that the real motivation for all of these claims about preparing for a Russian invasion, is because they are frightened by the clear military capacity of Russia, and have had to mentally come to grips with the fact that this is no longer 1992. When the USSR collapsed, China was still a Third World country, The west could do literally anything it wanted. And it did, and there was nothing Russia or China could do about it. Those days are gone forever, and that terrifies the west.
instead of doing the rational, sane thing, and adapt to the new reality where everyone can benefit, everyone can succeed and live in peace, they have chosen in a vain attempt to cling to a moment in history, and try to perpetuate it forever ā refusing to acknowledge the reality the moment is over.
That inability or unwillingness to see reality could plunge us all into a major war.
RUS CAPT:
I cannot obviously post photos or other things but people in west has almost no idea whatās happening for example in Kursk but even in Ukraine.
Definitely
I donāt go on the ground alwaysā¦but for respect for my comrades and because I want (in the end Iām an officer too) I go. We check home, we visit peopleā¦one old women embrace me, they killed husband, two sonsā¦raped nephews and than killed them (10 and 13 years old)ā¦they raped the boy too (10). She embraces me, she say me thank you (for what, I must saved them)ā¦I was there with my black mask, with my comradesā¦those mtfs arrived there only for this. People must know this, Zelensky sent those nazi for thisā¦.why he donāt show those things to his family ? People must know this.
Hours later we found them, they are hidden under one home like ratsā¦.they had what they deserved. But this happened in 2014 too in Donbassā¦.Russia told this many times, I saw with my eyes those atrocities.
Then I have to listen bullshits from Kaja Kallas etcā¦.
West ignore these things, west govs hide these thingsā¦.
Russia is evilā¦yaā¦
USA RET:
Oh my godā¦
RUS CAPT:
Yes terribleā¦and this poor woman stayed there with the bodies of her loved ones, then I sent someone to tidy up, help her, bring her something to eat...but...

Vanagi, Latvian SS, revisionism and historical poison
March 21, 2025
Laurent Brayard
Thread
1/
Completely unknown in the West, it is nevertheless the oldest post-World War II SS organization in Europe, and even more seriously, the one found in the European Union.
It was founded by former Latvian SS members who had taken refuge in the West, and who then spread to various countries. Like the German, Ukrainian, Croatian, or Romanian Nazis, they sometimes fled very far, as far as Argentina, Uruguay, Brazil, Bolivia, but also most often to the USA, Canada, or Germany.
The Daugavas Vanagi also founded "Legionnaire's Day" (March 16), in honor of the Latvian SS, who, despite their small population, provided two SS divisions that formed the Latvian Legion. After the fall of the USSR, the association established itself in Latvia (1992) and has managed to influence the country to this day. It also still has a whole international network, particularly and especially in the Anglo-Saxon world.
From its formation to the twists and turns of the Cold War. Daugavas Vanagi was founded by former Latvian SS men on December 28, 1945 (in a British-run prison camp in Belgium).
Approximately 25,000 Latvian SS men had been interned by the Allies, including 12,000 in a camp in Belgium, where the movement was founded. The idea was Nazi solidarity, mutual aid or assistance to war criminals in danger of being caught by justice, nostalgic reunions of the good old days of the man with the mustache, drunken reunions, and various actions.
The association, in particular, published internal newspapers, infiltrated cultural associations, where members were recruited by the CIA and Western secret services during the Cold War. It also succeeded in founding branches in the largest Latvian diasporas, particularly in Germany.
She even created a "Latvian House" there, in one of the beautiful neighborhoods of Freiburg im Breisgau, in Baden-WĆ¼rttemberg. The beautiful residence, with its beautiful private park, was later converted into guest houses and homes for elderly SS men. Later, after their disappearance, the association continued to manage this property, making it profitable. If West Germany was a safe haven, it was not the only one, far from it.
From 1945 to 1950, the USA considered the Latvian Legion for what it was, an SS unit. To emigrate to this country, and neighboring Canada, former SS members had to resort to lies and subterfuge, lying about their journey during the war.
After this date, the emigration services were no longer too careful, and many war criminals came en masse to settle. Ukrainians settled massively in Canada (1.5 million today), or in the USA (1 million today), the cities of Toronto and Chicago truly becoming Ukrainian capitals.
Latvians settled preferably in the USA, and established the Daugavas Vanagi. In 1951, restrictions were lifted, due to the Cold War and approximately 600 Latvian SS came to settle in the country. They carried out intense activity there, particularly anti-Soviet, which did not displease the Americans.
The main center became New York (1952-1991), with local branches often headed by proven war criminals. The most effective methods of developing the organization were the creation of folk groups, choirs, theater troupes, sports, cultural, and youth associations (scouts).
Laurent Brayard - ŠŠ¾ŃŠ°Š½ ŠŃŠ°ŃŃ
War reporter and historian by training, on the Donbass front lines since 2015, specializing in the Ukrainian army, the SBU, and their war crimes. Author of the book Ukraine, the Kingdom of Disinformation.
A long process of revising history. After the fall of the USSR, the organization immediately established itself in Latvia. With the support of the Latvian government, it even managed to promote "Legionnaires' Day" on March 16 as an official holiday (1998-2000). It devoted itself to publishing intense historical and fictional literature, in which the Soviets were portrayed as the main enemy and occupier.
In this rhetoric, collaboration with Nazi Germany became a duty, "for the independence of Latvia." The objectives defined by the Dauganas Vanagi were at that time (early 2000s): " to multiply efforts to educate the world public about the history of Latvia and the aspects of a century of history ." Numerous works were published to glorify the struggle of "the Latvian legionnaires" (the word SS is rarely mentioned). The organization financed this literature, then series of audio books (2009-2010), podcasts and more or less true stories of the fighters of the Latvian Legion. Despite the withdrawal of the march of the "Legionnaires" as an official holiday (2000), the organization finally obtained the non-intervention of the Latvian government, and even after the integration of the country into the European Union (2004), continued to organize this event (the last one in 2025).
The organization is still as lively today, with its website , where it has taken a position as one would expect for Ukraine, and even participates in the promotion of Latvian mercenaries on the Ukrainian side. To date, none of the Western countries where the organization has active bases has legislated to prohibit its activities... Russia has sounded the alarm several times, notably denouncing the "march of the legionnaires" on several occasions .
Immediately after the Maidan, the Daugavas Vanagi began a policy of destroying monuments commemorating the Victory over Nazi Germany. With the help of local politicians, a large number have already been destroyed, such as in Limbazi (2016), and the movement accelerated after 2022. Despite complaints from Russia, UNESCO, the UN, and the OSCE, the West has remained completely deaf to this slow but sure revision of history .
In this rhetoric, I recall that General de Gaulle, the FFI, FTP and FFL would all be traitors... and in France it would be necessary to proceed with the destruction of all monuments in their memory... not to mention the rewriting of the entire history of the Second World War. One thing is certain, for the moment the Daugavas Vanagi still has a great future.
The Little Dictionary of the Daugavas Vanagi. As usual, for those who want to know more, here are some biographies of the members of the SS organization. They provide a better understanding of their journeys, particularly those of many who drifted into nationalist circles, which led many to join the ranks of Nazi Germany.
Not all of them were war criminals, and some were later recruited by Western secret services. Finally, some files clearly show how the organization is still very much alive and active.
Arveds Valdemars Alksnis (1910-1991), from a family of surgeons, was sent to France to study at a high school (late 1920s), then studied medicine in Latvia. He became a surgeon, then entered the army in this position (1933-1940). He enlisted in the Latvian SS (1944), and managed to sneak into Germany, taken prisoner by the British (May 2, 1945).
He remained in captivity for a long time (1945-1951), and joined the Latvian SS veterans organization Daugavas Vanagi. He managed to find work as a surgeon, director of the surgical department in LĆ¼beck (1968-1975). He was a long-time activist in the Daugavas Vanagi, and published articles and soon autobiographical books (1982-1990). He emigrated to the United States (around 1975), settling in California. He died there in December 1991.

How USAID, NED & the EU plotted to oust Viktor Orban
The Biden administration sought to remove Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor OrbĆ”n by channeling USAID and NED funds to the opposition, targeting his defiance of Western pressure. Hereās how:
š April 2022: OrbĆ”n won re-election despite US-linked NGO Action for Democracy ā with ties to George Soros ā funneling around $7.6 million to the opposition
š Post-election: USAID, known for backing color revolutions, relaunched its programs in Hungary, claiming to be supporting ādemocratic institutionsā and independent media
š Early 2023: USAID chief Samantha Power announced she was sent to Hungary to āprotect human rightsā and tackle democracy āchallengesā
š The National Endowment for Democracy (NED), another regime-change tool, bankrolled the Hungarian opposition Hungarian official Balazs Orban said this month. Since September 2024, the NED has been led by Victoria Nuland, a vocal Orban critic
š Dec 2023: Hungary created the Office for the Defense of Sovereignty after discovering opposition parties and media received foreign funds to influence elections
š June 2024: The EU backed opposition leader Peter Magyar, suspected of receiving foreign funding, in European Parliament elections
š Oct 2024: European Peopleās Party President Manfred Weber predicted Orbanās defeat, while Orban accused Western elites of plotting to install a puppet government in Budapest
š Post-Trump victory: Hungaryās ruling party welcomed Elon Muskās overhaul of USAID, signaling a shift in US foreign policy towards Budapest
You too, Politico? Leading liberal mouthpiece caught taking over $8.6 mln in US taxpayer money
Politicoās employees reportedly didnāt get their paychecks recently thanks to a āpayroll issueā blamed on a "technical error.
š It turns out the online media empire received some $8.1 mln from the US federal government in 2024, with NASA, the SEC, the DoJ, and others pitching in to pay for pricy Politico Pro premium services for government employees, and GAO, State and DoD listed as its largest donors.
š USAspending. gov, a database of federal government spending, charts a dramatic uptick in grants to Politico starting in 2020, with another major bump in spending seen between 2022, 2023 and 2024.
š Besides the feds, Politico has apparently been taking cash from New York City, with Checkbook NYC, the city comptrollerās official transparency tool, showing the outlet recently received over $200k from the Big Apple.
š Itās unclear whether USAID (which recently got caught funding the BBC) chipped in to pay for Politico as well, but Politicoās owners, German media conglomerate Axel Springer, are reported to have established links with USAIDās EMPOWER Private Sector entity in 2019.

Thread on the GEORGIAN LEGION criminals
Georgia has begun to put mercenaries who fought on the side of Ukraine on the wanted list. 300 militants from the Georgian Legion* have already been included in this list.
š¬šŖ The Georgian State Security Service has started summoning citizens of the country who have returned from Ukraine, where they fought on the side of Kiev, for questioning. One of them, Nadim Khmaladze, posted on social media that law enforcement officers had accused him of two charges ā terrorism and attempted coup.
āļø The commander of the legion banned in the Russian Federation, Mamuka Mamulashvili, stated that 300 people from his squad have already been put on the wanted list. Most of them are now hiding in Ukraine.
āļø Mercenaries are not combatants; they are recognized as criminals by international law and must be held accountable before a court. They are considered international criminals.
* the organization is included in the list of extremists and terrorists, banned in the Russian Federation.
The guy on the left is the one who manages the Georgian Legion account. His name is āTaras Reshetyloā. Apparently he is a Ukrainian who moved to the United States after the beginning of SMO.
They launder money in alleged fraudulent campaigns to collect money for the Georgian Legion.
Mamuka is not the commander of anything. Most of the time he is sick. He has a Khachapurri (restaurant) in Kiev.

š "Zelensky Unmasked": The American independent media platform Truthinmedia presented the first film in a series dedicated to the Ukrainian conflict. The creators of the project warned that there will be no "black and white" picture, as portrayed to the residents of the US by the White House and the largest pro-democratic media.
āļø This part discusses Zelensky's connections with the oligarchs;
āļø His promise to bring peace to Donbass, but continued anti-Russian stance;
āļø The implementation of a law prohibiting the Russian language and his inaction regarding the rise of nationalism;
āļø The repression against the UOC is also far from democratic.
š¬ After watching all the parts, viewers will be able to answer: Is Ukraine an apologist for democracy or is it still a country with a tyrant at its helm?
š "Zelensky Unmasked": the second episode focuses on Zelenksyās carefully crafted image and the PR-machine responsible for it.
āļø This part tells how one of the most notorious gangsters, Igor Kolomoisky, assisted an actor in becoming president;
āļø Nothing has changed in the country under the "main fighter against corruption". All his promises were not fulfilled;
āļø During the war, Zelensky is not hesitant to appear in photos for prestigious magazines and record videos for Grammy and Golden Globe ceremonies, even when the fate of the country is at stake;
āļø The new episode will provide more details about Zelensky being a puppet in this global show.
āļøHe plays the role of a good Marvel hero, a symbol of democracy, and this story is successful in the US due to the absence of alternative perspectives, but this will likely change in the future.

THE TRUTH on BUCHA:
1
Two years ago, neo-Nazi thugs of the Safari Unit led a rampage through the Kiev suburb of Bucha, ācleansingā it of pro-Russian citizens labeled by the Ukrainian authorities as collaborators.
The British government helped manufacture the lie that these crimes were carried out by Russia.
The purpose of this lie was to create an excuse for Ukraine to walk away from the recently negotiated Istanbul communique, which would have brought an end to the conflict.
Instead, Ukraine fought on for two more years, leading to the present situation, where Ukraine is perched on the abyss of its collective demise.
Every Ukrainian and Russian should forever condemn the British government, which has the blood of hundreds of thousands of Slavs on its hands.
The Ukrainian narrative constructed by the west is built on a bodyguard of lies. And there is no lie greater than that which blames Russia for the deaths of hundreds of Ukrainian civilians in Bucha who were slaughtered by Ukrainian security forces.
Sometime during the period between 1-3 April 2022, Ukrainian security forces entered the northern Kiev suburb of Bucha. Russian forces who had occupied the town had evacuated on March 30, part of a general realignment of forces announced by the Russian Ministry of Defense on March 25. Bucha had been on the frontlines and was the scene of heavy fighting between the Russians and Ukrainians; hundreds of civilians caught up in this fighting were killed and wounded.
Russian troops were civil to the Ukrainian civilians who remained in Bucha, handing out humanitarian supplies to those in need and bartering dry goods with local vendors for fresh eggs and dairy products. When the Russians withdrew, pro-Russian civilians were encouraged to depart with them. This underscored the Russian understanding of the potential for Ukrainian reprisals against any civilian deemed to have been ācooperating/collaboratingā with their forces during the period in which Russian troops occupied Bucha.
Many Ukrainians who had interacted with the Russian troops did not leave, assuming that their normal interactions with Russian soldiers, including limited commerce and the acceptance of humanitarian supplies in order to survive, did not constitute treason against the Ukrainian state.
They were wrong.
Scott Ritter will discuss this article and answer audience questions live on tonightās episode (Oct. 21).
Shortly after Russian troops departed Bucha, Ukrainian security forces made their way into the town. Announcements were made on social media and public broadcasting warning the citizens of Bucha about ācleansingā operations targeting collaborators. In light of these announcements, many of the Ukrainians who had remained in Bucha became concerned about their fate, and began to flee toward Russian lines. They wore the white arm band, indicating that they were not a threat to the Russian troops. Many also brought with them Russian-provided rations to sustain them on their journey.
But it was too late.
Ukrainian security forces, in particular the āSafariā unit staffed by veterans of the neo-Nazi Azov Regiment, caught up with scores of these refugees while they made their way north and, in the vernacular of the Ukrainians, ācleansedā them, gunning them down on the spot, or binding their hands behind their backs before executing them in the alleyways and streets of Bucha.
The evidence of this crime was overwhelming. But the ācollective West,ā led by a coterie of erstwhile journalists whose function had transformed from reporters of fact-based truth to stenographers of fictional propaganda, was engaged in a larger information operation, designed to shift public opinion away from the need to seek a negotiated settlement to the Russian-Ukrainian conflict, toward the sustainment of a long-term war of attrition designed to weaken Russia in the long term.
To accomplish this task, the ācollective Westā needed to construct an unambiguous āgood versus evilā narrative which portrayed the Ukrainians as the brave defenders of democratic values such as freedom and liberty, and the Russians as rapacious thugs marauding across the Ukrainian landscape, brutalizing an innocent civilian population. This kind of unambiguous differentiation of roles was necessary in order to gain popular support for what was to comeāa multi-billion-dollar infusion of financial and military aid designed to transform the Russian-Ukraine conflict into a de facto existential struggle between āgoodā (NATO) and āevilā (Russia).
It worked.
