The Senior Member just interrupted to say.......the role of an expert, normally, opinion evidence is not relevant in a legal proceeding. ..... @ExposingNV ...the fact you have an opinion does not help me make a decision - if you are expert building surveyor about safety of buildings I can listen to your evidence. But if you are just a person on the street I wont listen to your evidence on building safety

Day 2 - pre Mission2Melb

First up a bit more info on the Lap of Love planned for Friday arvo - starts at Kalkallo finishes at the Melb Airport lookout Bit rich coming from the people who took gallows to protests & made threats against every politician, doctor, nurse the don’t like

After a bumpy day yesterday, the focus today for the camp is restoration & inner peace - a day of strength & nurturing one another
They plan to go to Canberra cafe's without masks & driving thru town with music playing - these are empowering things
And they need (more) security Just across from where morning meeting is happening, Bosi is in camp (full uniform) telling a group of people that they have maybe 3/4 days to make change
Saying that Scomo is compromised, the whole government are corrupt
Bit of different feel to the peace & love across the way

Camp is currently imploding - there is genuine unrest, there are 2 obvious factions within the group.
The issue, as I see it, is that the sov cit part of the group are getting louder, and stronger and more vitriolic

This morning they were put off going by some of the leaders saying that Antifa would be there, the same people that talk about infiltrators and encourage people to take photos of strangers
It feels like they are trying to encourage a sense of anger & resentment for their own ends

Quick update from camp.
Last night some of the campers went for an outing to the trots
Despite having the Peacemakers & Guardians on site, the police had to be called in relation to an altercation There's still rumblings of some division in the camp, but the energy workers were having a 9am meeting so expect smooth sailing from here

The Canberra Convoy is up & about - a morning pep talk just concluded
Speeches alternated between “we’re here to take the government down” and “it doesn’t matter if we’re not successful today” Lyn took control of the mic & announced that an ex Fed officer visited her yesterday
Oh, and there’s going to be 1.7M of them arrive in Canberra today
