You see the recent promotion in the police that saw the NW and NE get about 20 CPs with the Middle Belt and entire Southern Nigeria getting 17 CPs, I believe it is a good thing.

Hear me out.

With this brazen nepotism, the chances of us having an election reduces by the day. On 16th of December a conference of socio-political leaders of the Middle Belt and Southern Nigeria sat and came up with a communique that rejected the constitution and called for it to be rewriten without which there should be no elections. 90 days ultimatum was given.

The Gbaramatu Genocide: May 15th, 2009.

In 2009 oil production had been cut significantly by militant activities of the Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta (MEND) in their fight for justice, so the Yaradua government decided to go after Government Ekpemupolo. The government felt he would be at the Ama seikumor festival which is an annual festival in Gbaramatu.

What did they do? Yaradua ordered the mobilisation of all branches of Nigeria’s armed forces.

The Nigerian Navy contributed two warships; The NNS Nwanba and NNS Obula.
