It is important to understand Takfir is not a negative practice in Islam. Muslims who think that Takfir altogether is wrong are highly mistaken. Takfir is an essential part of an organized religion like Islam. Islam is not some hokus pocus allz good kind of an ideology. 1/ Islam has been likened to a house in various traditions. A house has boundaries. There are ppl deep inside, others on the boundaries, others outside. Those who are well aware of the house know who all are inside and who all are outside.
