On Tuesday 17th Sept 2024, at around 9:30am,a @NPSOfficial_KE
police officer inside Ongata Rongai police station recklessly & carelessly discharged his weapon into their air. The bullet acquired terminal velocity, tore through the roof of school next door and struck a student. Learners at Ongata Rongai's Prime Junior School scampered for safety when they saw the bullet lodged into the arm of 13 year-old Peace Nasimiyu, a grade 6 pupil. A mathematics class was in session and Peace had raised up her hand to answer a question.
