The Karnataka Hate Speech and Hate Crimes (Prevention) Bill, 2025 ()

This is the worst bill passed by any government in the country. Shame on you @siddaramaiah and @DKShivakumar.

This law does not fail because it exists. It fails because of how broadly it is written and who enforces it.

Three things together create the risk of misuse:
1.Very wide definitions
2.Low threshold for offence
3. High discretionary power to police

When these three combine, intent stops mattering and perception becomes law.
