@DerWouter While Parnas/Fruman/Correia were in it for the money, I'm beginning to suspect part of the deal w/whoeve was taking down Joe Biden. Periodic reminder: When Marco Rubio first ran for the Senate in '11, his patron, Norm Braman, Miami car king, registered a "new" foundation to funnel $50k+ to Rubio annually via his wife's "consulting firm" The arrangement cont'd thru '17 & possibly '18.... Rubio's arrangement w/Braman, a billionaire, perfectly illustrates the weakness in federal financial reporting regulations. Year after year, Senator Rubio reported his wife's corporation as a partnership that made a distribution >$1k.....

@DerWouter I realize the NYT is somewhat circumscribed about what it can report but characterizing Igor Fruman as a failing businessman is so misleading you have wonder if the narrative was intentionally deceptive.....
nytimes.com/2019/12/19/nyr… ..Last year, Fruman told the court he only earned $336k in '17 yet that same year, he donated between $100k-$250k to a private Miami day school for a building project. Presumably, his children attend the school where tuition averages $30k a year.....

Since '12, McConnell only reported a single $500k investment in a hedge fund, his b-i-l's Electron Global Fund.... ...Very odd. Just searched the Senate disclosure database for "Mitch McConnell" & here are the only reports on file. No '16, no, 17, no '18. But I have screenshots from his '16 report showing Electron Global Fund transactions. First, here's the '15 EGF purchase.....
