Imam Sulaiman Ibn Abdelwahhab swore their were no apostates in his town after MIAW & the Wahhabis declared them kufar. MIAW’s own son-in-law Imam Ibn Gharib said the Wahhabis were extreme in Takfir/killing.

Are you still willing to meet Allah having takfired all these Muslims? We pray every Muslim and Sunni scholar who they've implied excommunication, has right over them on Yawm Al-Qiyyamah and takes your deeds. And Peace be upon the messenger ﷺ

Let’s see if their arrogance or fear of Allah prevails.

This Thread is full of so many lies, distortions, straw-men, and faulty reasoning of 𝗦𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗳𝗶-𝗪𝗮𝗵𝗵𝗮𝗯𝗶 sect. But anyone one with a brain can see the striking faults within its reasoning... 🧵 "lie 1:"Miaw didn't mass Takfeer". Well this is absolute non sense for a start. Wahhabi texts testify to mass excommunication as do Sunni Ulama. MIAW waged jihad against surrounding Muslims, which is always against kufar in principle. See here:

The Salafi-Wahhabi sect consider everyone who didn't hear the Najdi Dawah as ignorant of TRUE ISLAM. 1200 years of ignorance bar Ibn Taymiyyah? And even he thought the dead could hear and that Najd was not Iraq, so he could get cancelled too. This is partly why the Ulama at the time of MIAW like Imam `Abdullah ibn Dawud Al-Basri [d. 1810], referred to him as a false prophet like Musaylimah, and others referred to "Ibn Abdelwahhab AND HIS DEEN".

HOW THE EARLY 𝐖𝐚𝐡𝐡𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐬 ASSASSINATED ONE OF THEIR TOP SCHOLARS

When sects like the 𝐖𝐚𝐡𝐡𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐬 have people who go against their interests, there’s only one way they like to deal with them...

even if it's one of their top scholars… 🧵 𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱; ⬇️ 𝐖𝐚𝐡𝐡𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐬 have a history of mass muderering Muslims This is well documented in their own history books by Ibn Ghanam/Ibn Bishr Of course 𝐖𝐚𝐡𝐡𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐬 label those killed as “mushrik” but this is no different from Israel killing Palestinian civilians as evil “terrorists”

The early Muslims of the first three generations understood as the land of Najd. Keep in mind the following points:

⬇️⬇️ a) When Shaitan came in the form of Ash-Shaikh an- Najdi, it was not thought by those at the council of Dar un-Nadwah that he was from Iraq. This would be impossible as the Muslims had not even made it to Iraq yet.

On Salafi claim that Trinity Tawhid is proved in the Qur'an. An example of another Tawhid is “Tawhid Al-'Afāl”: that is, God is the real Creator of all actions and consequences as explained by scholars like explained by Imam Muhammad Nafis al- Banjari (b. 1148 AH/1735 AD).
May 18, 2022 4 tweets 1 min read
Picking three random verses to apply 3 concepts doesn't prove that Tawhid is a trinity. You can just as easily point to another verse and say: Tawhid al-'Afāl ("Of Actions" which scholars did) or Tawhid al Hakimiyyah ("Of Rule" which others did). So these are subjective. There's nothing wrong with using any of these distinctions in and of themselves (12345 whatever). The problem is when you say 3 is the ONLY way to understand Tawhid (which many Salafis argue). I personally prefer "Tawhid is 1". It's also wrong to assume people have "some" Tawhid.

Regarding the Great Sheikh of the Hanbalis, the older brother of Ibn Qudamah [d.1223], Abu Umar Ibn Qudamah Al-Maqdisi [d. 1210]:

“He would lead the people in prayer in the middle of Sha’ban, for 100 rakahs, even though he was an elderly man.”

[Mukhtasar Tabaqat al-Hanābilah]. Abu Umar Al-Maqdisi [d. 1210] was a pinnacle example of the people of Ihsan. Biographers and great hadith scholars such as Diya' ud-Din al-Maqdisi, would research Abu Umar's family after his death to gather as much detail as they could regarding the Imam's spiritual practice.

SUNNIS/QUR’AN VS SALAFIS/MIAW

…on whether or not the Pagan Meccans believed their idols/gods had INDEPENDENT POWERS (Rububiyyah).

Sunnis: Yes, they believed idols had powers; were LORDS (arbāb)

Salafis: No they didn’t

This is CRITICAL. I advise everyone to watch these clips. Yasir Qadhi brilliantly explains how the Qur’an clearly defies the Salafi creed, which wrongly states that the Arab Pagans did not regard their idols as LORDS (arbāb) with powers like the ability to create. Indeed, the Pagans DID assume such. This is the essence of Pagan belief…

Many “defending” statements from Ibn Abdelwahhab [d. 1792] are found across “Al-Durar al-Saniyyah” and “Majmu’ Mu’allafat as-Shaykh”.

Just know that when you see these, it’s MIAW’s UNDERSTANDING of the Islam which people rejected, causing his takfīr of them, not Islam itself. You see this with modern deviant groups such as ISIS, who also claim that they only make rightful takfīr.

Such sects make up their own parameters of religion, decide who is inside & outside (almost always, everyone apart from their group is outside), then they make takfīr them.

Salafi Dawah to non-Muslims may bring as much evil as it does good. How healthy is it for the ummah to have “revert” brothers who are taught to make takfīr of other Muslims and insult our classical ulema?

Is being khawarij better than being innocently non-muslim?
Allahu aalam. It’s like I’m the only one that cringes every time I see an iERA video of their Dawah projects to non-Muslims, when everyone else seems to rejoice.

Not all “dawah” is good dawah.

🖌️⬇️ The first issue is that Shawkani didn’t appear to support MIAW in his lifetime. The date cited in wahhabis evidences (1215AH) is after the death of MIAW. (Plus, Shawkani, along with other Yemini scholars retracted this mistaken support. But that’s a later point.)

When Sulaiman Ibn Abdul Wahhab [d.1794] commenced his response to his younger brother’s invitation letter, he purposefully used the same ‘salam’ used by the Prophet ﷺ to the False Prophet, Musailimah: “Peace be upon whoever follows the guidance.”

...السلام على من أتبع الهدى This demonstrates the subtle wisdom of our Sheikh ul-Islam, Sulaiman, may Allah have mercy on him, and the gravity of the situation that the ulema faced: namely, resisting and refuting the call of MIAW, who was seen as a false prophet, and his organisation a cult.

Ibn Qudāmah al-Maqdīsī رحمه الله stated:

From the Sunnah is; Loyalty to the Sahābah, love for them, mentioning their good qualities, and asking Allāh to grant them mercy and to forgive them. And [also] refraining from mentioning their bad qualities and what they differed in, believing in their virtues and acknowledging their superiority.

In the mid 18th century, Ibn Abdul Wahab’s forces depopulated towns, destroyed hamlets, killed scholars and executed men/women. They made mass takfir on towns like Huraimila where his brother, Suleiman, was chief Qadi. Numerous assassination attempts were made on Suleiman’s life. “Muhammad Ibn Abdul Wahhab and his followers are people of innovation because they contradict all of that which has been handed down.”

~ Hanbali Scholar & Judge, Muhammad Ibn Fairuz [d. 1801] responding to Wahhabi da’wah just prior to the movement’s bloody invasion of Mecca.

Scholastically speaking, Muhammad Ibn Abdul Wahhab was as qualified to speak on matters of religion as a post-millennial YouTuber. This seems like a joke but it is not.

Hanbalis have a 7 tier hierarchy of scholarly rank ranging from Absolute Mujtahid (the four Imams), down to Muslim laity (YouTubers, Ibn Abdul Wahhab and myself).

Ulema of Ibn Abdul Wahhab's day were clear:

"There has appeared in our land a man who is an innovator, ignorant, astray and leading others astray... causing the disruption of knowledge, and cutting off piety from people's hearts."

~ Najdi Qadi, Sulaiman ibn Suhaim [d. 1773] "Whoever does not agree with him [Ibn Adul Wahhab], then he judges them with having committed major kufr... So in reality he is calling to the Tawhid of himself rather than to the Tawhid of Allah."

~ Najdi Qadi, Sulaiman ibn Suhaim [d. 1773] (Scholar at time of ibn Abdul Wahhab)
