PPP loans were created in 2020.
Within 1.5 years, over 80% of them have been forgiven, totaling $600+ billion.
Student loans started around 1958-1965.
60+ years later & .6% of student loan debt has been forgiven.
No one asked how we would pay for business loan forgiveness.
PPP loans were sold as being a bailout for small businesses, but more than 500 larger businesses got hundreds of millions in PPP loans & had them forgiven - many of those businesses are tied to billionaires or politicians.
Another handout to the rich.

🧵 One thing that isn’t talked about enough & is frustrating as an LGBTQ+ person is that so many cisgendered straight people don’t understand that queerphobia isn’t just slurs or saying we live a “sinful lifestyle”. It’s a systemic issue deeply embedded in our society. 1/
Homophobia, transphobia, & otherwise queerphobia exists in our schools, workplaces, healthcare facilities, mainstream media outlets, the entertainment industry, in churches, politics, police forces, courtrooms - it exists on different levels in every corner of society. 2/
