Federal Government and Tompolo

The federal government, out of desperation, has hired Tompolo on a billion naira contract to help secure the oil and gas pipelines. This may or may not be a big deal. Tompolo may be qualified to do the job.

But the real issue is how the government moved from declaring Tompolo wanted for criminal actions to begging him with billion naira contracts to do what Jonathan administration hired him to do. After 7 years and after criminalization everything Jonathan did, Buhari comes back to approve what he castigated. It

Last night I stayed late to mark exams scripts and caught a glimpse of BBN. And saw Erica’s rage and started about game theory and leadership psychology. Here is what I got it.

Erica Eviction:
10 Leadership and Management Lessons.

1. Management starts with self management 2. Be confident and feel important. But overconfidence will make you overlook deadly traps and make silly mistakes
3. Accept that people will hurts you; friends will betray and colleagues will gang-up; but don’t mourn too much when you are hurt. Else you will proceed on a

Why are Ebonyi and Enugu state having such high poverty rates? They are the only Southeast states with poverty rate above the national average. Ebonyi, particularly, is a concern. Its poverty rate is similar to those of Northeast and Northwest states. The Ebonyi Governor has been pleading some sort of political exceptionalism from other southeast states. He is modeled as a high performing Governor. How come his high performance has not translated to significant improvement in social and economic wellbeing of Ebony people? Didn't they say

How many of us remember that Abacha, yes this Abacha was an anticorruption warrior? He gave hell to owners of failed banks and set up a special tribunal to prosecute them. Most of us were happy with him as a fighter of corruption. Some even did not want those accused by Abacha to have legal representation and just trial. Corruption was the anathema and the solution was unfair trial and harsh imprisonment. Just like Professor Sagay and the new tribalist are saying today: “prosecute them, jail them” so we said then. And the gap-toothed one fired on.

@ibrahim0608 @eyooekpo I have waited for 24 hirs to see if lies can mutate to truth. But lies remain lies. So, now I respond to lies and malices from someone who has a deserved reputation for treachery and megalomania. Here are the facts: 1. Falsehood No.1 @eyooekpo alleged that I have kept quiet for 4 years about what happened and started speaking now.
TRUTH: I started speaking the first day I left office about what happened. I have explained every fact about it. . thecable.ng/sam-amadi-not-…

We are Kidding with Insecurity
A few weeks ago, when I appeared on Arise TV ‘Good Morning Nigeria’ to argue that security has not improved under the Buhari presidency many ill-informed persons attacked me. They cited as evidence that insecurity has improved the fact that there are no more bombings in Abuja as against pre2015. But they failed to realize that insecurity is not only about throwing bombs in Abuja. Nigeria is not just Abuja.

I think the PDP should not ask INEC to stop counting. INEC should not be stopped from carrying out its routine work. The law protects INEC as a regulatory agency from being stopped from carrying out its regulatory functions. But what INEC cannot do is to gloss over the allegations and petitions from interested parties and go ahead and announce final winner. INEC has to conduct administrative adjudication on the substantial allegations of the PDP and any other party to the election

I start my expose on rule of law by considering Right to Life. The sacredness of life is illustrated by the fact that the only morally acceptable ground for taking someone’s life is that life has been taken. Life for Life. No loss of life for any other offense Society criminalize acts to discourage violence and protect peaceable living. Rule of law prohibits use of violence outside the law. By creating offenses and their punishment and mandating processes to establish how and when to punish society effectively prohibits violence

The most important news today is that 4 years after Buhari has failed to improve corruption standing in Nigeria. It is official. We have not made progress. The report is not that Buhari is corrupt or not. It’s he has not done the job Next 4 years what can he do different and therefore better? My frustration with the campaign is that no one is saying how they will make the war succeed. If you fail repeatedly your strategy is bad. It is not about corruption fighting back. It’s Bad strategy
