My name is Samantha and I’m a lifelong Minnesotan with multiple sclerosis, epilepsy, degenerative disk and Ehlers-Danlos syndrome.
I’m legally fully disabled and perpetually online because my ms has limited my mobility and restricted my vision to a place where I only see clearly through my phone screen.
As the world takes notice of the fraud in Minnesota I’ve found myself actually a victim. Every dollar you see printed in media or posted online represents a real person that has been left without help they need.
This is my story. Three year ago my ms progressed to a stage where I lost the independence I always held onto. I had to stop driving and needed help my extended family could not provide. As a single mom I had two kids in high school and I was suddenly unable to do many of the things a normal mom can do.
So I applied for assistance and got a voucher for PCA services.

Okay I’m going to try explain this one more time before I write gen x off as 2020’s boomers.
When you see a tweet posted by multiple people with the same text (especially young people) it’s a meme. It is a text based concept. It does NOT mean they are bots. If you were online for 2016 you probably got blocked by someone’s grandma because you were a bot. I got kicked out of groups by people who honestly believed I was a robot.
