THIS is why I’m talking about relational organizing. Not because I think I’m a genius or introducing something not tried before. Relational IS organizing. Digital organizing IS organizing. Organizing is conversations & in uncertainty the messenger matters. forbes.com/sites/tarahael… A campaign can’t be in every newsfeed. A campaign can’t be in every conversation be it on zoom, text, or over the phone. And even if they were, their voice has a diminishing impact with persuasion in a time of so many falsehoods being circulated and an overall lack of trust.

Tonight proved that #TeamPete had a grassroots infrastructure that was strong, organized, & ready.

The Marathon States program @PeteForAmerica didn’t just organize. We built community through belonging. Our volunteers built real connections.

Here’s what we accomplished: We IDed, trained, and worked with 848 volunteer leaders in non-early states, some who are campaign veterans and many that were finding their voice in this space for the first time.
