Tension between India and Pakistan has been going on since independence in 1947. When the tribal forces of Pakistan started attacking Kashmir, the Indian Army demanded jeeps from the government for the maintenance of the border
and other works.
On behalf of the Government of India, India's High Commissioner to England, VK Krishna Menon, signed a deal to buy Jeeps with British companies. Menon struck a deal with a dubious company to buy 1500 jeeps. For this, he gave 80 lakh rupees in advance to the
India was in need of these jeeps immediately but their first consignment, consisting of 150 jeeps, reached India after the ceasefire. Also, they were of such poor quality that they could not even walk.

"India must be free; India must be a republic; India must be united." These were the words of the woman who hoisted the Indian flag for the first time under the British rule.
Do you know?
Four decades before India's independence, in the year 1907, the flag
of India was hoisted by a woman for the first time abroad!
46-year-old Bhikaji Cama had hoisted this flag at the second 'International Socialist Congress' held in Stuttgart, Germany. It was one of the many unofficial flags created during the freedom struggle, different from
today's flag of India.
At that time the wave of nationalism was strong in the country, because the Bengal province was divided two years ago.The anger of the people against the British government was at its peak. This was the period when Mahatma Gandhi was still in South Africa, b

Let's know the story of the historical battle of Saragarhi
Saragarhi was a small village in Kohat district. This area was then part of India which now comes in Pakistan. The British had captured the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa region but they were afraid of attack by the rebel Pashtuns. Saragarhi served as a communication post between the two
forts, Lockhart and Gullistan. Both these forts served as the two headquarters of the British Indian Army in the North-West region. There was a distance of only a few kilometers between them but it was difficult to see from one fort to another. So Saragarhi used to work for the
Abdul Habib Yusuf Marfani of Junagadh had donated 1 crore rupees to Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose for the Azad Hind Fauj at that time. The contribution of the INA in the history of independence of the country is less discussed.
It was neither an adventure-lik mission,
nor a reaction to an immediate action. It was a marvel of Subhash Babu's indomitable will, diplomatic skills and military organization skills. This unsurpassed campaign of Subhash Bose is considered a different kind of effort in the history of freedom around the world. But
there is hardly any serious academic research on the political life of the INA and Netaji Subhash, except for 'A Forgotten Army' and the personal memoirs of some INA warriors.
Subhash Babu's biggest contribution has been that during the very dangerous period of bigotry and

Story of Azad Hind Bank
Before independence, the picture of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose was also printed on the Indian currency. A replica of this currency issued by Azad Hind Bank can be seen on the currency display board of the main branch of State Bank of India located at Bank
Road in Gorakhpur city of Uttar Pradesh.
He also got a lot of support for the war that Netaji had started to liberate the country. People also donated in a big way. A bank was also created in April 1943 to handle these money. Its name was 'Azad Hind Bank'. This bank was
established in Rangoon, the capital of Varma. Varma is now known as Myanmar.
In the olden days, even the king-maharaja used to issue coins in his name, so in the same way this government of Netaji also issued its currency through 'Azad Hind Bank'. The countries which supported '
Do you know that Amul is the acronym for Anand Milk Union Limited, India's largest dairy company?
Situated in Anand, Gujarat, this cooperative institution removed the middlemen and made the dairy farmers of Gujarat jointly owner of the milk business. This brought a new
revolution of milk, which came to be called India's White Revolution or Operation Flood in the 1970s. It transformed India from a milkless country into the world's largest producer of milk and dairy products.
Amul's victory saga depends on the hard work and vision of three men -
also known as the Amul Trimurti - Varghiz Kurien, Tribhuvandas Kishibhai Patel and HM Dalaya. Who were these?
In 1946, Verghiz Kurien started Amul as a dairy cooperative. He also founded the Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Institute, which managed the Amul brand. Today, the
The biggest problem with the history of Indian independence is that most of the information about the Indian freedom struggle is scattered here and there and this information is limited to individual or a particular group. The names of many fighters are found, but apart from
their families, now there is hardly any mention of their contribution in the villages of these people. This is the reason why the history of independence has been reduced to a few names only.
By the way, many historians and institutions have tried to preserve the memories of the
sacrificers at their level.
Veeran Azhagu Muttu Kone, also known as Azhagu Muttu Konar and Sarvaikarar, was the first freedom fighter from the Madurai region of Tamil Nadu who revolted against the British East India Company.
Azhagu Muttu Kone was the general of the Poligar
Asif Ali the lawyer who fought Bhagat Singh's case.
Every child of the country knows the name of freedom fighter Bhagat Singh and is familiar with his sacrifice in independent India. But do you know the name that was behind Bhagat Singh and was supporting him at every step in
his freedom struggle.
Before independence, the unity of Hindu-Muslim freedom fighter in India was very strong. The story of such unity has been that of Bhagat Singh and Asaf Ali.Freedom fighter and lawyer Asaf Ali was born on11 May1888. He was an able lawyer and freedom fighter.
Let us tell you that Asaf Ali was the first Indian who went to America and became the first Ambassador of India. Apart from this, Ali has also served as the governor of Odisha. Asif, who graduated from Delhi's St. Stephen's College, was arrested several times for participating in
This story dates back to 1849 when a man named Walter Hunt living in New York Martisburg, USA, was living in extreme poverty. Despite working hard, Walter was not able to pay the huge debt taken by his ancestors, due to which he was living his life under extreme stress.
Walter was associated with his father in the iron business since childhood. He had the enthusiasm to try something new from an early age. He always thought of doing something new and strange.
After much thought, Walter, understanding the need of women, first created the safety
pin. Walter is said to have invented the safety pin in a span of just three hours. Walter first sold this pin to 'WR & Company'. Later the company ordered them to manufacture a large number of safety pins. Walter earned $400 from this invention and paid back his entire loan.

Britishers looted our precious knowledge acquired over thousands of years.
"The Third Mysore war took place between Tipu Sultan and Britishers. The Mysore soldiers captured a truck which was carrying food for the British army.A simple Marathi named Kosaji was the one who
drove this truck. Tipu Sultan ordered to cut off his nose. Kosaji with his nose cut was released after the end of the war.
A British doctor came forward to treat him. But Kosaji did not allow that doctor to treat him and said to take him to a traditional physician named Kumar.
The Britishers scolded him for choosing the local remedy instead of modern medicine.
He said, "Dr. Kumar will fix my cut nose again.” Everyone started laughing. But they agreed to his request and took him to Kumar. The local physician, Kumar, was doing a brick kiln business.
Many many years ago, Prabhu Shiva gave a huge ShivLinga for Nandi to do Pooja 🌻🌼🌸. Ever since then, Nandi have been continuously performing pooja every Monday without skipping ☺️.
One fine Monday morning, Nandi was about to perform the pooja, that’s when Maa Parvati
“Dear Nandi, Prabhu Shiva have forgotten to take this food that I’ve prepared for Him. He will be really hungry later. Could you please give it to him? Muruga and Mayura are not here, else I would ask their help ☺️🙏🏽” said Maa Parvati.
“Oh Maa. For sure! Let me
do it right away! 🥰” replied Nandi.
While walking towards the Shiva temple, Nandi kept thinking about the pooja that He has to skip for very first time 🤔.
By the time Nandi gave the food and return to Kailash, its already late afternoon.
“Eh!! What’s this? Flowers and all? I
Nandi is a symbolism of eternal waiting, because waiting is considered the greatest virtue in Indian culture. One who knows how to simply sit and wait is naturally meditative. He is not expecting Shiva to come out tomorrow. He will wait forever. That quality is the
essence of receptivity.
Nandi is Shiva’s closest accomplice because he is the essence of receptivity. Before you go into a temple, you must have the quality of Nandi – to simply sit. You are not trying to go to heaven, you are not trying to get this or that – you go inside and
simply sit. So, just by sitting here, he is telling you, “When you go in, don’t do your fanciful things. Don’t ask for this or that. Just go and sit like me.”
People have always misunderstood meditation as some kind of activity. No, it is a quality. That is a fundamental

Here they found a large amount of archaeological material.
It is not known what they found there, but a specific object caught their attention.
He found a statue of 24 cm high, about ten kg, which was made of some metal.
The idol was of 'Vaishravana', who
is considered as a god in Indian and China.
Indians consider him as a Kuber.
Himmler was amazed to see a swastika in the middle in this statue and took that statue to Germany.
He did not even tell from where he got these unique idols and gold platen.

Why sun and moon appear the same size?
Maya Asura writes in Surya Siddhanta -
Due to progression of cycle of time when compared between chosen degrees evidently the imagery doesn’t remain same,
therefore operation of analysis and solution is called upon.
The text is emphatic on the point that the fundamentals have been relatively untouched. Let’s begin with a derivation in Surya Siddhanta that can be easily detected.
It's no coincidence that Moon and Sun have
virtually the same angular size in our sky. The Sun is 400 times wider than the Moon, but it's also 400 times farther away. Even though the Moon is 400 times smaller than the Sun, it's also 400 times closer to Earth than the Sun. This means that from Earth, both Moon and Sun
