The Supreme Court has dismissed the appeal filed by a former Rivers State governor, Mr Rotimi Ameachi, seeking to stop his probe over an alleged N96 billion fraud by the Rivers State government.

The apex court, in a lead judgment prepared by Justice Emmanuel Augie but read by Justice Adamu Jairo, dismissed the appeal of Amaechi, who is the immediate-past Minister of Transportation and All Progressives Congress (APC)
