Full disclosure: I am SUPER pro-choice. One of the few abortion care clinics in Alabama is across the street from where my kids attend school. (1/?)
When we occupied the school in 2015/2016, I asked our City Council to restrict the protest permits of the anti-choice groups that constantly flooded the sidewalk of our school. (2/)

Real examples of how male/female medical issues are handled. 1. I had an IUD put in. I was given nothing for the procedure & encouraged to take Tylenol once home. There was no follow up care. I also was asked if I had consulted my partner in the decision.
- This was done in-office as part of a routine OBGYN visit. There was no consult and no discussion of what the procedure would entail, just that “you’re already in the stirrups, so let’s get er done.”

The thing to always need to understand about #mswarriors is that everything is awful, all of the time, but it’s our normal, so we stuck it up. For instance: my nails fall off. Constantly. So I wear press-ons - EVEN ON MY TOES - so you don’t know.
My hair? Always falling out. In handfuls. Clumps. So I keep it short and dye it fun colors.

Please explain to me why:
1 - an off duty HPD officer can be hired to “protect” an anti-abortion protestor outside of a public school, complete with HPD cruiser
2 - the protestor has removed school property to allow the cruiser to be closer to him
(1/?)
3 - this protestor states that HCS Board of Education granted him permission to do this
4 - WHY IS THIS STILL HAPPENING UNCHECKED AFTER SIX YEARS
(2/?)
