So. I loved #TheDig. Despite being set in the 30's it evoked a lot of my early fieldwork experience in the 80's and some of the things archaeologists were gushing about are still pay of the experience today. And it also evoked the fantasy that I became an archaeologist to chase>

Ok time for a short thread on who is actually on strike (hint #NotJustLecturers) Throughout the strike many people (special mention @FionaEWhelan) have been calling out media coverage, @UCU, supporters, & even strikers themselves for calling #USSstrike a ‘lecturers strike’ 1/n
This is not just a matter of words - its important. Firstly, as someone on strike who isn't a lecturer, it makes me feel marginalised (when I already feel vulnerable being on strike) it excludes us from the solidarity that is so important in #USSstrike 2/n
