Today is the anniversary of the execution of #Sheikh_Abdulsalam_Barzani.
Barzani was executed in Mosul on 14-12-1914 by an Ottoman state decree, after seven years of continuing the revolution in the Barzan region for the sake of Kurdish national and nation rights. "Sheikh Abdulsalam #Barzani, the owner of the first manifesto of the Kurdish national liberation movement," says French journalist and historian Chris Kochera.
