I'm so proud of this latest paper in collaboration with Drs.
@LexFischer and Kelsey Bisson. We summarize observations of phytoplankton community composition measured using an #ImagingFlowCytobot in the #SantaBarbaraChannel during the #ThomasFire. agupubs.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/full/10.10… We found that the phytoplankton community during the #ThomasFire was dominated by dinoflagellates, unlike historical Decembers in the #SantaBarbaraChannel - but community composition was uncorrelated with light or nutrients (which we hypothesized would be impacted by the fire).
